Youth to Youth Hosts Senator Gregg at DMS
Dover Youth to Youth hosted Senator Gregg at the Dover Middle School Library. Molly Martuscello, a senior at Dover High School and seven year member of the Dover group, opened the presentation with a description of the program. Merritt McLaughlin, a junior at Dover HIgh School and the 2008 Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids Youth Advocate Award winner for the Eastern Region, introduced Senator Gregg. Olivia Loos, a junior at DHS and a 6 year member of Youth to Youth, described the program and the progress that they have made in their fight against tobacco use by youths.
Senator Gregg presented the Youth to Youth Students with a Flag that had been flown over the Capitol. Youth to Youth presented Senator Gregg with a Youth to Youth sweatshirt.
The event was organized by Dana Mitchell, Prevention Program Coordinator with the Dover Police Department.
